This is the task for the second term:
Presentation of  a song
Choose a song that you like in English. Research the song to get information about the lyrics, the music, and the writer(s).You will talk about it in class for five minutes. Use the following question as a guide for your presentation:
1.     The writer or composer: who wrote the lyrics and the music?
2.     The performer: what is the name of the band or the singer?
3.     The story of the song: how old is it? What is it about? Is it a cover or an original song?
4.     The music: what is the key signature? What about the time signature? Can you recognize any musical form in it? How many instruments are in the song?
5.     Which genre does the song belong to? (Example: pop, rock, blues…)
6.     Why do you like this song? Why did you choose it?

Print a copy of the lyrics with blanks for your classmates to fill in. After your presentation, we will listen to the song and fill the blanks of the lyrics. Then we will ask you about words we do not know and we will open a little discussion of the song.
Make a list of the words you learned while preparing the presentation and hand it in to me.
